The tuition bill will come from Emory's Office of Student Financial Services during the normal billing cycle for the semester. On the same bill, students will be charged a Program Fee covering housing. Additional items included in the total cost of the program are hotel on official arrival day, EDUCO orientation, academic services, EDUCO cultural activities, and excursions. The non-refundable $300 application deposit will be applied towards program tuition. Existing federal and Emory-based financial aid will be applied towards the program costs. Please review the Emory Credit and Cost Policy.

The first subtotal above lists the charges that will appear on the Emory OPUS bill. The second subtotal above lists the additional estimated expenses. All costs are subject to change.  Exchange rate used in budget calculations:  1 euro = $1.25.

The fall semester is approximately 16 weeks and the spring semester is approximately 22 weeks).  Additional expenses (to be paid directly by student) include airfare, long-term student visa (approximately $250 for Campus France processing fee and $125 for visa fees), books, personal expenses (including estimated weekend travel), local transportation, and meals. Additionally, some students must pay 55 euros for a medical exam in France as part of the student visa process, and year-long students must pay for an official translation of their birth certificate (approx. $35).

Students with a high level of financial need may qualify for a waiver of the $75 application fee and a deferment of the $300 deposit; students should contact their OISP advisor for details/eligibility. Students who receive the deposit deferment are held accountable to the same refund policy as those students who submit the deposit; you will be billed $300 if you withdraw from the program, in addition to any applicable withdrawal fees.
