: James Cook University is a comprehensive institution and all majors are suitable for this program. The marine biology program at JCU is among the best in the world. This program is open to all majors, but may be particularly suited to students with academic interests in the majors listed above.
: Fall: mid July to early December; Spring: early February to late July
: A minimum 3.0 GPA, following at least 3 semesters of college-level work and enrollment at an accredited institution the semester prior to the study abroad semester. No language requirement.

s: IFSA-Butler arranges housing prior to arrival for Emory students. Students receive complete information about housing options after their applications are accepted. Students live on campus in residential colleges with other JCU degree students. In some cases, students will live in furnished flats or houses in conveniently located residential areas. Housing is NOT provided before the program begins or after it ends. Students pay IFSA-Butler directly for all housing costs (including refundable housing deposit) and the cost of a meal ticket.

: Students are eligible to carry existing financial aid and scholarships on Emory-approved study abroad programs.
