Program Description:
Dewey-Hinton Scholarship for study abroad

Eligibility: Students who are majoring in English, History, or Music and who will be studying abroad on the year-long programs at Oxford University (Corpus Christi, St. Peter's College, and St. Edmund Hall), the Spring semester at St. Edmund Hall, or the summer British Studies program at Queens College are eligible to apply for this scholarship. (The English, History, or Music major must be officially confirmed on the Emory transcript to be submitted as part of the application materials). Students must take at least one class in one of these areas while studying abroad. The minimum GPA for the year-long or semester programs is 3.6, and a 3.5 minimum GPA is required for the summer British Studies program.
If awarded, the scholarship will be posted to your student account and will be applied to the cost of the program.

Selection: The selection process will be competitively based upon a combination of academic merit and financial need. During the regular school year, priority will be given to students who propose to study abroad for a full academic year.
