Program Description:
Purpose: Stefanie Erin Canright graduated from Emory College with a B.A. in Psychology in 2000. Originally from San Juan Capistrano, California, Stefanie was president of her sorority, Delta Delta Delta, and was very active in her local community both at Emory and at home in California. Stefanie was a great lover of travel and adventure, as well as a proponent of education continuing outside the classroom. She tragically passed away in 2004, but her memory lives on in the form of the Stefanie Canright Scholarship. The first scholarship was first awarded in summer 2006.
Eligibility: Students must have minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA and participate in an Emory-approved SIT IHP study abroad program during the fall or spring semesters. If awarded, the scholarship will be given in the form of a check mailed to your local address. This is a taxable scholarship.
Awards: Award amount is usually around $2,500.
